Now you may be asking, well what is Push Hard? Well, let’s start with what Push Hard isn’t? - Push Hard isn’t your typical group fitness class taught at any major health club chain. - It isn’t your baby boot camp, pacifier sucking, adult whining and complaining, “I wish I was fit, but I am trying” class. - It isn’t your Zumba, Pilates, or the Kanye West Workout Plan. - It’s not your “I’m going to Push Hard for the nice music and the hype of saying I go to “Push Hard Fitness”. - It isn’t your “I’m going to Push Hard Fitness, and maybe I will get fit by osmosis” class. Now that we have established what Push Hard isn’t. Let us tell you how a true “Push Hardian” defines “Push Hard”… Push Hard is the act of power or ability to use strength of mind (Fortitude) to continue and last (persevere) despite adverse conditions especially in a stressed environment. To enhance mental dexterity and athletic skills while improving ones personal best. To exert ones mind and body by disciplining ones will through vigorous or intense physical activity. To improve ones health and physical appearance through maximum effort and positive lifestyle change. Our core methodology is the overload principle. The overload principle states that a greater than normal stress or load on the body is required for training adaptation to take place. The body will adapt to this stimulus. Once the body has adapted then a different stimulus is required to continue change. In order for a muscle (including the heart) to increase strength, it must be gradually stressed by working against a load greater than it is used to. There is a gym and even trainer for everybody. We are not that gym or trainer for everyone. We don’t train laziness, we don’t train quitters. We make champions, and gladiators that is it. This is who we are. This is what we do. This IS Push Hard. We make you stronger, faster, and better than you were before you came.
